Billiard Table: Snooker, 8 Ball
The tournament level: Open
Competition days: Twice a month in the evening during the week (at 7:00 PM)
Number of Players: 8 or 16
Number of sets per match: 1
- The tournament is one-elimination and only the winning player will go to the next stage
Local Billiard Tournament Rules
- Players must be 15 year old at least.
- Each player that is not present till 5 minutes before match start, will be considered as match loser and get removed from competition.
- We will provide some soft drinks, mineral waters or beverages for during the game.
- The players must be aware of the game rules, however the game’s rules will be explained to them before beginning of the game.
- For 8 ball: The match location and some other equipment like billiard table, six pockets, cue sticks and 16 billiard balls will be provided by us. Players can bring their own 8 ball sticks too.
- For snooker: The match location and some other equipment like snooker table, snooker balls, snooker sticks, cue, triangle, chalk, rests, scoreboard will be provided by us. Players can bring their own snooker sticks too.
- The game has a referee.
- We don’t have any insurance included and we don’t accept any responsibility.

How many players will attend each match?
In 8 ball competition 16 players will attend in each competition. The competition days are on midweek days. Besides the entertainment side, the winner receives a prize, which is so encouraging.

1- Can I participate as an individual player?
Yes, you can participate as an individual player. You’ll be chosen to be member of a 6 person team.
2- Can both men and women play together as a team?
Yes, they can play together as a team.
3- Does insurance includes team members?
If you are an individual player and want to be included in the insurance you have to pay AED as a cost.
If you have a team and want to be included in the insurance you have to pay AED as a cost.
4- What are the terms and conditions of cancellation?
If you want to cancel your participation as an individual or a team you must do it or inform us at least one week before match day. If you don’t cancel at the determined period as an individual, you get omitted of the team and your payment won’t be returned to you. And if you don’t cancel as a team, your team will be announced as a loser and the paid costs of team members won’t be returned.
5- If your team wins can you participate in the next match?
Yes, winners of each competition race with winners of other ones at the final tournaments.
