International Math Olympiad Topics with Examples for Grade 6 (Age 11–12)

Eligibility Criteria for Grade 6 International Maths Olympiad

  1. Students can participate in the Olympiad either through their school or individually.
     
  2. Each student must have a valid identification card, such as a passport or a national ID card, at the time of registration and upload it during the registration process.
  3. Students may register for exams of higher grades if they wish. However, if you are registering for the exam of your own grade, your age must not exceed the specified limit by more than six months.
  4. If a student’s parent wishes to complete the registration, they must enter the student’s full name and details during the registration process.
  5. Please note that during the Olympiad, family members are not allowed in the examination room, and the exam will be conducted solely for the students.

Grade 6 Maths Olympiad Syllabus

A key component of preparing for the Math Olympiad is following the syllabus. Students are able to achieve academic success because the exam syllabus is based on and nearly identical to the current school syllabus, but with a somewhat higher level of difficulty. Topics including numerals, number names, number sense (two-digit numbers), addition, subtraction, lengths, weights and comparisons, time, money, geometrical shapes and solids, and patterns are all covered in the Math Olympiad syllabus for class 6. Olympiad Prizes

Cash prizes will be deposited into the student’s account within 15 days after the results are announced, and the receipt will be sent to the student via email.

If the student does not have a bank account, parents can mention this during registration.

Additionally, the certificate and attendance letter will be sent to your address.
